I noticed that the labeling and bullets/arrows for the defrost on a 77 bezel is different than on a 74.

What about the '76 ? Dots... or arrows? Wow, that's an unusual request, wondering if the on/off markings on 76 rear window defogger bezel are like dots like a 74 or arrows like a 77. But I more than I understand I have my own strange requests, and appreciate all the help people give me! I checked the parts catalogs, and the first thing I needed to remember is that it is a "defogger", not a "defroster". And the defogger requires an adapter package, and the adapter package contains the part number of the panel bezel. It looks like the 74 is unique, and 75-77 are the same. 74, dodge sedan: defogger adapter package 3579234 which contains bezel 3488526 75-77 dodge sedan: defogger adapter package 3837169 which contains bezel 3746510 your friend in being able to see through the rear window, arthur

Sorry, I was thinking that your '76 had a defogger and it was only a matter of taking a quick glance.

Sorry, I was thinking that your '76 had a defogger and it was only a matter of taking a quick glance. Oh, no problem. I started at the catalogs (looking for "defrost"), and when I didn't get very far, just went to check my 76 bezel and found that it was blank: and by that point I was wrapped up in the project, went back to the parts catalogs, learned that the word was "defogger", and then found the answers. your friend in remembering that "def", as in "rear def" and "rr def" stands for "defogger", not "defroster", arthur
