^ Pretty cool looking speedo. I guess the 1968-70 B-body is the only Mopar application they have so far ? Looks like when the key is off it looks like this ... Then key on ... Plus you can change the display color, depending on your mood . Plus you can get it in mph or km/h and the temp would be in F° or C°. Will folks spend $1,495 for this speedo ? The built in performance meters are amazing. With a digital clock/timer and digital speedo, you can set it when you're stopped, and when you're ready, pound the gas and the speedo will precisely measure your 0-60 time and time/speed in a 1/4 mile. Very cool. Maybe if enough folks e-mail about a C-body speedo they would look into it but would they make both 120 and 12o versions ? Would they also have separate 140 and 14o for police applications ? I kind of doubt it. If the entire display was digital then I guess they could but that's not the case here. Anyway, I like it !

- They also list this particular speedo as compatible with the same years Mopar B-body police cars. I figure the reason they include police cars is because the speedometer is calibrated to 100% digital accuracy ... does that makes sense ? 100% digital accuracy ? If you use a certain GPS model you don't need to calibrate the speedometer.? So that's an extra piece of equipment you need attached to the speedometer ? I think most would like to only use the speedometer they just paid $1,495 for. The way I've understood it is the speedometer itself will calculate your speed and 1/4 mile etc. and it's digitally calibrated. I guess the GPS unit is the most accurate but in the 1/4 mile what would the difference in time be between a digital speedometer and GPS ? One hundredths of a second ? Heh I don't know but they are very cool. ----- It appears that back in the day, with these particular B-bodies, the numbers and letters were actually affixed to the lens of the speedo ! I did not know that.
