For those of you that have installed an 8 track in the dash ac vent - were you able to do so and maintain functioning of the air vents in the dash? If so, how?
i have a 1974 plymouth fury sedan. The guys helping me pulled my dash and say that if it's installed like in the movie, it will disable the vents in the dash. So basically no AC. Not a viable option in KC summers wearing a black suit and tie!
Any ideas, suggestions appreciated. Thanks!

Basically, there's a divider that separates the airflow to the center and far right vent. The deck will partially cut into the divider. I was gonna use gorilla tape to seal the open hole behind the player and the chunk of missing divider.

It does not affect airflow other than not being able to adjust direction and airflow. If you have the heat or A/C on high it will gush out that hole.
