- An interview with the director, R.J.Cutler. Sounds like it's a different type of documentary, more personal with photos and stuff John had written for Judy etc. For portions of John's life discussed in the documentary it will be depicted as animation, "there were no iPhones."

Cutler treats us to a trove of personal letters and audiotapes, and the insightful reminisces of close friends and colleagues (everyone from Dan Aykroyd and Ivan Reitman, to Penny Marshall and Carrie Fisher).

- For any Hoser's thinking we don't get Showtime in Canada, well, I think you're right. But, we do get those shows on Crave.

I don't subscribe to Showtime but did "buy" the movie outright thru Google Play TV. I haven't watched it yet, I'll need to be in a proper frame of mind!
