Well, it's finally happening! This here 1975 Royale (with cheese) arrived this morning from Texas. She's solid but needs a loooot of work. I'll try my best to keep tabs on my progress!
The Bad:
Royal.
There's one hit on the rear passenger corner. Gonna need body work there. The corner cap needs replaced.
Bumper is bent slightly, can be straightened.
That passenger side trunk tub is rusted out too. I'll need to cut it all out and patch that.
Dashpad probably needs replaced. I'll try plastic welding and patching, but the vinyl is very brittle and full of cracks.
Front seats are split along every seam.
New fangled touch screen radio/sound system hacked into the dash. Probably need a new face plate.
Interior is green.
2 of the outside door handles are broken.
Windshield is cracked.
All side markers and turn signal lenses are gone.
Tail light lenses are Royal. Coronet.
Upper door panels are Royal.
Barely runs. Tiny two barrel carb needs work. Probably needs fuel line flushed.
There's quite a few wires and vacuum hoses that aren't plugged to anything and I have no idea where they go.
Single exhaust.
Small radiator.
Needs new seat belts.
Missing oil gauge or clock.
Rear wheels are actually 14", need two more 15'' x 5.5'' black steel rims.
Rear deck has after market speakers hacked in.
The Good:
Doesn't need smogged.
Very little rust.
Ventless doors.
Lower door panels are correct.
400ci big block so spare 440 will drop right in.
Might have working A/C.
Bench seat.
Interior is in relatively good shape.
