These were recently posted on Facebook ... images from the filming of the deleted "cathouse" scene! When Elwood picks up Jake and signals the left turn, this is where they were headed -- the house on Hills Avenue, facing the north wall of the prison. That's John Landis on the porch with Elwood. (Originally, Jake didn't even ask about the car until getting back into it!) You'll need to log in to see these (sorry I can't host-and-post).

Two more ... these were all recently shared with the Joliet Area Historical Museum by retired Joliet officer Ed Rachel (that's him with Elwood here).

And check out this amazing photo of J & E reuniting in the road, taken by then-Joliet Warden Dennis Wolff and recently posted on FB by his son.

^ Great stuff. Officer Ed Rachel looks like a big dude, he makes Elwood look small lol. That cathouse scene is hilarious. Cecille - When did you get out, honey ? Jake - Ten minutes ago. And this ... Jesus H. Has that pic ever been posted anywhere before? Very cool, and taken by the Warden !! Thanks for bringing these to our attention, Dan-O. Thanks to "Big Ed" Rachel and Warden Dennis Wolff, too .
