I was making my way over tonight to post, but see you already found her. Let me know if you have any questions. I kinda gave up on the build thread here at the time Photobucket went to hell.... Didn’t get to post anything really after the engine was installed. However linked above is the build thread over on the C body site if wanting to see anything.
As mentioned car has received a bunch of work. Lots of NOS parts, and what not. Underside has been completely stripped, coated in Rustbullet, and top coated with undercoating. She’s clean!!
I should go to work for a dating site. A member here that I was to build a car for, has bought this car from another member. Definition of a good deal, all three parties are happy. FYI I am still going to build one for sale BUT you are not going to be able to eat off the bottom. LOL Phish
Is it true that this song is the only instrumental tune ever that got banned from the radio because people were afraid it might influence the youth in a bad way? Sorry for offtopic, just like this greate piece of music.
Is it true that this song is the only instrumental tune ever that got banned from the radio...?
True, but not the entire country banned it, just New York and Boston. The squares were worried the song could incite gang violence, keeping in mind this was 1958 when it was released. It continues to stand the test of time being used in movies (Pulp Fiction), TV shows (The Sopranos), and still being used in advertising with Jack Daniel's using Rumble in its ads for the last year or so. You might have to log in to youtube to watch this ...
