Hi everyone. Any experiences changing new fuel tanks? What type does fit? I found that Spectra premium CR22A would be suitable. Any other models? I need to change this existing one as I’ll get my 30 micron fuel filter blocked after 10 refills. Some very fine black dust - maybe rust or something inside the tank. Any proposals where to buy? Rock auto seems to offer 265 $ for the tank.

I've used Spectra stuff in the past. Most of their tanks are made in Canada, quality stampings.
I had your same issue with the tank in my Fury. It had sat with bad fuel in it for many years, full of rust and varnish. Rather than buy a new tank, I had it professionally cleaned, where they dunk it in a giant tank of caustic solution, and a few pinholes soldered up. Came out perfect and was significantly cheaper than buying (and shipping) a new tank.
Check with a radiator repair shop in your area, might be a good alternative.

My Fury has a spectra tank and it seems fine. As gtopat mentioned if the one you have doesn't have holes and you can find someone who will clean tanks locally it can be cheaper.

Did mine at the shop. 1 Drain, drop tank and remove pickup. 2 Rinse with water several times and drain. 3 Soak with 1/2 gallon of solvent (we used Cajun Brown), shake often and soak overnight and dump. 4 Pressure wash inside moving wand back and forth etc. 5 Rinse again and stand on end with a heat gun on low for 12 hours. 6 Beat on it (lightly) to shake any remaining scale. 7 Shop vac that out. Walla, new tank on inside. Jake
