Hi folks, I bought this Bluesmobile from a really nice guy in Ontario some while ago...had it shipped to Germany early last year...it took me some time to complete it and get all the adjustments done to comply with German/European traffic regulations...but finally, here it is on the streets of the Frankfurt region: nicely rumbling 440, tons of new parts in the engine compartment, very clean and rust free underneath, new undercarriage and cavity sealers (won‘t drive it during winter time here anyway...but as a matter of precaution...)...after some back and forth, it even received a classic car registration (which is of hugely positive economic impact when it comes to vehicle tax and insurance here). ...unfortunately no push bumpers allowed over here...and don’t want to risk Any trouble with rollers or to forfeit insurance coverage in case...might however install it occasionally as it undoubtedly is somehow incomplete without the push bumpers.
Best regards Matt

Hi Matt, Your Blumo is a beauty alright, I live in Toronto and have my own Bluesmobile but you have a real Police car which is more fun you will have everywhere on the autobahn(better watch for those Rollers too) enjoy your new hobby brother.

Thanks a lot, both! I would love to upload more pics...just need to figure out how to with an iPhone device...it is indeed remarkable how many thumbs up it received from patrolling cops here (obviously a rather exotic appearance on German streets). The seller put an enormous amount of effort into it, and in particular mechanically and also the body are very sound. And loads of spare parts by the way, rear bumper, steering wheel, 140 mph speedometer, etc... A childhood dream came true. 😎

Best regards Matt Hi Matt, Congratulations on your Bluesmobile and greetings from Hamburg! Another one in Germany, very cool. Hmm, I wonder how many we are now? About five, maybe? You'll have tons of fun, that's for sure. About the pushbars: As dabluesgarage suggested, there are solutions for temporary usage. You'll find construction plans somewhere in this forum for the pushbars (or contact me). You'll just need to add the linkage to get it fastened and unfastened. This is how it looks on my BluMo: Would love to see pics of yours. Hit it! Ulrich

Hello all, many thanks for all your posts! In the meantime, I figured how to post pictures. So, there are some of my Bluesmobile. I'll put on the push bumpers soon and take some new pictures then. Sadly, it is not so much the season for cruising around in Germany at the moment...from April on will be the right time here.
