I know a lot of members here are also on Facebook, so I started a group “Bluesmobiles Reunion 2019”. It’s a closed group, send and request to join and I will approve it.
It is scheduled for the weekend of June 21-23, the 22nd is the actual Bluesmobile Cruise Night in Mount Prospect.
I’m going to start looking into hotels for that weekend in the Mt. Prospect area for group rates, secure parking, on-site restaurant/lounge. For everyone traveling from out of town I really want to make this year special and more than just the Cruise Night.
My thinking is -
Arrive Friday afternoon/evening (for those that can), check-in, freshen up, meetup at restaurant/parking area/lounge to hang out, meet everyone we haven’t in person, catch up, etc.
Saturday: wake up, get breakfast, maybe do a Bluesmobile only car show for the hotel guests? Freshen up and go to the rendezvous for Bluesmobile Cruise Nights. I’ll talk to the Lions Club to arrange for a police escort through Mount Prospect and into the show like last year. That was fun! Go back to hotel and repeat hangout/relax/sleep.
Sunday: for those that aren’t in a hurry to go home we can do self guided parade of Bluesmobile’s into City?
Just throwing out ideas to get the conversation going, give me some ideas though of price points for hotels so I can work on that though!

If anybody isn't in a hurry to get home Sunday, my club the Midwest Street Rod Association is holding it's annual Gears & Ears car show and swap meet in Yorkville, IL. WE have over 600 cars attend each year, have split the pot raffle supporting Special Bikes 4 Special Kids. Free pop and roasted corn for all participants. It's about 1 1/2 hours west of Mt. Prospect off I-88. I've attached a flyer with info on the show. We have set up for the show Saturday but I'm going to try and make it to Mt. Prospect for the cruise night. Sounds interesting! To put Yorkville in perspective for those out of town, it's about 40 minutes west of the Joliet prison.

^ Am I seeing this right -- eight?? Isn't that the best turnout of C-body Bluesmobiles yet? 2010 had six Monacos and two Crown Vics.

^ Definitely looks like 8 cars, so they're all Blumo's right to the end of the line ? How many are members here ? Could someone name the owners from left to right for us ? Thanks.

Damian is all the way to the right. I'm second from the right. Cynot (Tony) is third from the right. Arne is fourth from the right. Ted is on the left. Jerzey Jim is 2nd from the left. BMS is third from the left. The 74 Monaco Brougham is 4th from the left. Here's a closer pic of the 4 cars on the right. There was actually 9 Monacos. Not pictured is the Mt. Prospect Police car replica that was at the entrance of the car show.

- Thanks, five-five ! Was member TI4438 one of the Blumo's ? I guess not, eh. He hasn't posted here in about 4 years, lives in Chicago and owns/owned this nice Blumo ... It's the one Dan signed "nice BLU-MO" with a hyphen. I was like what the Hell ?? lol. We've known through various stories and stuff that Dan and John both would use the term Blumo I just never had seen it spelled with a hyphen and then we see this pic of quite an awesome dash signature! I reckon TI (Big Ed) is on facebook. Does anyone know if he still has his BLU-MO? Is Chi-Town John's ol' Blumo still in Chicago? He sold it to a friend in the City did he not ... ? Great turnout for sure. Congrats to Brian for gettin' 'er goin'.
