^ Cool. If the pic is no bigger than 1mb you can attach it to your post. A free pic site I use is postimages.org/ when you upload a pic there it will give you a link you can post here. I can see one of the differences between the one I posted and yours is the wheelbase. So the "l" on yours stands for the long wheelbase? They sure are versatile!

Good to know. I'll give postimages a shot. Yes, the L is for long wheel base and
Excellent parts support for the trucks.
Better road manners than expected, disc brakes, power steering.
OM352 non-turbo, no glow plugs or heater grid. Bump the starter and fired every time. I was impressed, very loyal to say the least.

Yes, the L is for long wheel base Ok that's what I thought I had read about it but then I noticed there was also a "light series" so I wasn't 100% sure if the L was for long wheelbase or light series. I reckon then that this pic is part of the light series, it's a 408 and probably the coolest little dump truck I've ever seen!

Most of them have a 3-way tipper bed like to one in the pic. So stinkin' handy! and they had it over 30 years ago!!
Unimogs are a slippery slope. They lead to Tatra, MAN, KrAz, Lanz bullbog, Bungartz, Siemens.. OH, The 8x8 Russian missle launcher with the 37 liter diesel.
Really neat stuff we don't see in the states.
