Is it a special conversion part? I have 400/AC and 440/AC parts. Using most but may have what you need. Is number on it? I can scape the crud off and get one. Phish

The bracket is different between the 400/440, because of the raised deck of the 440. the number is on it. it is the rear lower bracket behind the compressor. Thanks, Tony

^ Here are those posts ... I've been looking around and have not found much in terms of A/C bracket info. Here are the brackets in question. The top bracket mounts to the waterpump housing and the front of the A/C compressor. The lower bracket mounts to the back of the compressor and bridges between the top rail of the block and the cylinder head. That dimention between the top rail of the block and the cylinder head is completely different on the 440 compared to the 400. So I know that bracket will not work. Here it is in more detail. What I am trying to figure out is do one or both of these brackets change. Better yet does anyone have a 440 compressor / bracket set up they would like to sell? I made some headway on AC brackets today. I was about to give up and started looking at doing a Sanden compressor conversion using something like this www.bouchillonperformance.com/inc/sdetail/467/567I ended up calling the local Dodge dealer I frequently buy from and was presently surprised to find one of the parts guys has a particular fondness for 440's. He got out the paper catalogue and found out that in fact there is a different rear compressor bracket. He obviously could not get me one but was able to provide me a part number. A quick search of eBay revealed the bracket I need. www.ebay.com/itm/111269003319?ssPageName=STRK:MEWNX:IT&_trksid=p3984.m1439.l2649 I had been unable to find this because I was searching for A/C brackets, obviously this guy only knew he had a bracket with a number and has no idea what kind of bracket it is. We shall see if it works! I got the bracket today and it looks like it will work! I was shocked that it came so quickly and that this thing it chrome plated! It must have been on some really tricked out custom ride to have chromed a/c brackets. Looking at the ebay picture again I can now see the chrome, I thought that was just a reflection of the flash off of black paint.
