Original catalytic convertor anyone? The exhaust has got to go. Major PS leak and VC gaskets are toast. Will take a steam cleaner to do this job. This car has not been cobbled with and someone changed a lot of stuff trying to get it running right. What is this on the back door locks?

Well my pressure washer just bounced off of the drivetrain so I rented a steam cleaner. What a mess as it had a split valve cover for a long time. Hit it and the Whip. Lean Burn and smog stuff removed and new input seal in PS. Dual exhaust, gauge repair and a wipe down; it's a wrap.

Hooptie cop car made it here. Came flying off shippers trailer with no brakes and I had to block it with tractor. It's first wreck and fork stabbed gas tank. Lucky it did not blow up. GOOD: everything complete and it actually started with an auxiliary tank, interior, gauges, AC blower, rear antiroll and a super trailer hitch etc etc. Bone stock E86 440 lean burn. BAD: $1000 shipping cost more than the car. UGLY: the rust. Just going to part it out as body is toast. Need cop stuff let me know. Fred Sanford

Hooptie central. Made progress on white cop Fury (Teague) thanks to the donor car. Have the gauges working but still have idiot lights on as a ground issue on that circuit. Had other problems so just removed the dash only to find electrical fire damage and lots of splices. No problem, take the harness of the donor. All HVAC stuff now works and car runs perfect with no more leaks. Donor also had a bad boy hitch with HD springs and rear antiroll. Box of new brake shoes in the trunk along with rear defroster. Frame shot so we are going to make a rolling run stand out of it. Found a sensor in the speedo cable that connected to harness. Have no idea what it does. Looks like a C body bomb went off in shop but scored some nice parts.

Engine oil cooler runs from rear of block, thru cooling fins and into the fuel pump bolt hole. That's a first for me.

The sensor is probably a signal generator for the cruise control.

Did a little work on the Teague Sheriff car. This is a before pic of the only rust on the car. Pin holes in the trunk. Will ospho, POR15 and panel bond it. Cutting a trunk floor out of a donor just incase new owner is OCD. Power washed and dried inside of fuel tank, sender float was sunk, so all new fuel system. Making a rolling engine run stand from donor front frame which has the welded reinforcements that cop cars came with. Waiting on seats and need to get the idiot light ground chased to ground (pun?). More rain so in the shop all day. The Wi. car had a much better interior as the NM Teague car had chalking from sunlight. Swapped all the door cards, rear deck, sails and panels. Can't wait to see the new seats in it. Have all the gauges working with new solid state 12 to 5 volt chip in speedo and a new Bluetooth 5 speaker sound system. All HVAC switches as it should, installed remote trunk opener, rear window blower, changed the key tumbler and fixed the hand throttle. This will be a killer car. Will put the donor front seat in and start driving it around this week. Someone needs to buy this car before I go paint it. Phish
