Gentleman offering this car claims it has the police package, but I am not sure it does. The VIN indicates a P74, which isn’t the sole indicator that it doesn’t’ have the police package. However, it does only have an 85 MPH speedo and the photos of the dealer paperwork with the ad doesn’t indicate any special package. Before I realized I could actually see the speedo in the photo, I emailed the gentleman to ask if he could tell me what the speedo was. My sense is that others questioned it having the police package. His response is below.

From Seller: If you are asking if it has the police package.......The trailer tow package is the police package minus the 351 engine...I have the original build sheet on the car and it says police package right on the build sheet.... this car was ordered by the owner of a car dealership in CALIFORNIA....He knew how to order the car with all the heavy duty parts minus the 351 non EFI setup....The 302 EFI is much rarer and much more desirable....Thanks......
I have seen P74s, even with the half roof, which do have the police package. Matter of fact I believe there was one posted within the last few years on this site, a former ATF car from SF California. So I could be wrong, but I thought all package cars, regardless of what model, would still have the 140 speedo. I didn’t follow up anymore as I am not looking to purchase. I really nice car, regardless.
