Going to be a JOLLY HOLLEY CHRISTMAS. Built a NHRA stock eliminator 440 complete with 2800 B&M converter and Sniper EFI for this years Great Race. Phish

Found out why it would not climb a mountain at speed last summer. Choked down exhaust by previous folks. 1" vs 2 3/8"... Also a 73 Imperial 440 pan will not go in the car. Must be a 933 pan so we borrowed one from another motor. Hope to get driveline in and Sniper wired. Long pole will be gas tank mods for fuel pump. Shop is a wreck. Phish

Have the driveline in and sniper in place. Lots of extra wire so hard to get neat in the engine room. Not finished by no means. New 2.5 inch pipes and HP exhaust on. New to put in O/2 sensor. Now modifying the stock tank for the intank pump. Decided to cut a trough thru the tank vent hump. Lots of flushing and heat gun drying so we don't blow up. More later, hope all this is worth it. Hi, Are those Cast or aluminum intake and exhaust manifolds you got with the fuel injection system? i'm thinking of converting to fuel injection myself, Horsepower must be good!.

Stand by while I G/Pig this deal. I went Holley EFI Sniper full boat. EFI, Coil, Distributor, Ignition and in tank pump. "Shoot" load of wires. I went with a single plane aluminum intake based on web research. Motor is steel crank HP 440 balanced and blueprinted to NHRA Stock Eliminator specs ie 69 model 440 Magnum. Exhaust are the 2 3/8 cast HP manifolds. I hate headers on a 440 with plug wires. Hope to have a full review in a few. A Holley Jolley Christmas. SLH

So far I love it (Sniper EFI). Here is the tank mod, lots of wires to tie off. If there is a negative it is the tons of wire looms. Have a bad gas tank grommet so no test drive but it sounds wicked on the lift. We used a relay and tied blue choke wire to brown coil circuit to get uninterrupted switched 12v required. That way the car can go back stock with ease. Now just learn to make timing tables, AFR etc. Yes tranny and rear antiroll already on this car. I am doing Monaco next. Stephen

The Holley Hydramat really helped with the surging which was happing at WOT below 1/2 tank. I am down to below 8 gallons with no problems now. The mat I wanted to use did not fit the pump. I had to use the 3 by 15 inch so some of it goes up the back wall. Ready to go but rally has been moved to Aug. 20. Alamo to SC. Jake

Ready to rally. Had problems with cheap hydralic rollers not pumping up. Changed out the shafts to roller rockers and solid roller lifters. EFI runs good and it sounds as it should with flat tappet. Jake

OK time to go soon. Great Race in 2 weeks. This car has Firm Feel stage 3 steering, new FF everything under car(10k), new 440/727 Sniper EFI yata yata. Will be stripping and selling as a stock 400. LIKE I got it. Has been a great car. How about that new post tape.....CHEAP

Busted PS hose first day, wipers had an issue, cost us another day and blinker fuse keeps blowing. BUT she ran great and was the usual crowd favorite. Miller Meteor on deck for next year. Phish

22 Great Race in a few weeks. We are staying in the Furyco. This will be trip number 5. We decided the ECTEAUX will be used in a Lemons rally. We have to stick with our BB theme. If your on the route, come jam with us. Jake
