- There's two '73 Polara's in this ad. A cop 440 and a civilian 360, I'm not exactly sure if the asking price of $2,700 is for both ... ?
The black Polara was a Winnipeg area RCMP black/white equipped with the HP (stamped on block) 440, rubber floor mat and certified speedometer and zippers in the headliner. The car is rough but it's also crazy rare to find one still in existence. It has run recently but the transmission does not move the car. The body is not in good condition.
Built in the US but the 2nd digit in the VIN is an S for "Special." Was that an up-until 1973 thing with cars for Canada? I think the 2nd digit was "L" for the Special in 1974. Civilians could order the Special but not with the cop stuff

The green '73 Polara is a dry car. It runs and moves under it's own power (360 2bbl) but the fuel tank has been by-passed.
Interiors are rough in both cars. Includes 2 NOS headlight bezels an 1 NOS taillight.
Androssan, Alberta is about 20 miles outside of Edmonton. I'm pretty sure that's where the ex-RCMP '74 Monaco was years ago. For calculating purposes Androssan to Great Falls, Montana is 518 miles.
