Very cleverly worded ad that doesn't 100% say it was used in the film or driven by Dan. Looks to me more like just a promo replica car. Still quite cool to own but it's no monaco

Certainly is. The money its at now is all i would pay for it with no paperwork for registering here. That is a super large headache without proof of vat/duty payment!!

Also the BB2K cars had wheel opening moldings and pushbars, fairly decent clone in my opinion

That's a Rick Shields plaque on the dash, the guy who built all of the House of Blues cars, I never knew he did BB2K cars too. I wonder what it was for? Definitely not the movie.

Its an interesting car for sure and has a bit of history but as you say what?? I would like to have a bid but i fear the owner thinks its worth a small fortune.

- I'm not sure what to make of it. Rick Shields did end up with two Bluesmobiles from BB2000. Here's how he told it at BBC ... I think the slide one would be #58 and the other one I'm not sure but this guy would know, a page for BB2000 Crown Vics. He's dropped by here ... - www.facebook.com/bluesmobiles/And that's also the thing is these cars were numbered in two locations. The # is a major part of the authenticity process, crucial, to leave it out of the ad is unfathomable. Plus like Adam said, the font is off, the "safety and service" is just too big. So it's a weird one with the Rick Shields plaque being there. And the dog on the C-pillar ... that ain't the right dog lol.

Personally, if there's any truth to the ad, I read it as, "This was one of the 100's of cop cars that was used during the filming of the movie, but it was re-painted to look like the Bluesmobile". But that doesn't make any sense because most of the police cars in the film were newer model Crown Vics. So I have no idea what to make of this...

Back in around 2007 when I was building my first Monaco I was dealing a lot with Rick I was buying a lot of parts etc from him and went out to his house in FL a number of times. And at that time he did have a BB2K car at is house and I saw it many times Back then he told me that it came from Canada and it was from the film and if he sold it he wanted $10.000 for it.

^ It is a nice car, a true P72, and a fine replica as well. Looks like it ended 4 days ago, Sold for GBP 2,000 which is around $2,840 USD or so.
