O.K in a moment of madness I have purchased an 88 gran fury mesa county cop car. It is a project but I would like to return it to in service condition. I need a little help on the light bar identification, here is a pic that was sent to me of a similar car in service.

If you're serious about restoring it 100% correctly and want good help, check out copcar.com. They can be incredibly helpful, but if you want to do absolutely anything unoriginal to it, be prepared to be ridiculed mercilessly for not being a good enough "purist". Also, do't mention the bluesmobile if you join over there...

No problem, I figured it would be an awesome place for finding cop car specific parts for the Monaco, but as soon as I mentioned I wanted to build a bluesmobile I was shunned pretty badly. I even tried explaining that we were basically doing the same thing, trying to restore a car as meticulously as possible to a pre-existing one, but they just said that it was ridiculous, and how man bluesmobiles do there need to be. I could probably say the same for CHP replicas but whatever. I almost quit the site, but still hang out and just lurk. It's fun to watch other members' builds and I still get interesting info from time to time.
