Well after lurking about here for a year or so with the slight hope of one day owning a Monaco I have nearly completed my dream! So I thought I best start a thread for you to all follow my Blumo adventures here in UK So anyway, I first saw the Blues on VHS in 1990 when I was about 13 from that point on I knew I had to own a blumo someday! After years of messing about with lots of euro and Jap stuff I've sold everything to get my dream car! You all know it so the big build thread is here bluesmobiles.proboards.com/thread/1870/sold-58-hemifurys-bluesmobile-projectAs soon as I heard it was being sold I went for it. Ok it's not the 440 I wanted but to be honest I only want it for the look and this one looks great so the 360 will do just fine. Here's how it started as a 77 Royal!
and ended up a pretty damn close 74 Bluesmobile! All credit goes to 58hemifury for a great job. After my very scary payment was made across the pond, 58hemifury kindly got it to the port where it sat in a warehouse for a good few weeks waiting for a container! It's now finally loaded and the ship is apparently setting sail Monday and should land in UK by end of the month fingers crossed! I'll keep you all posted with progress and updates here. I'm already booked in at several shows here in summer which will be great fun. In the meantime here's my first prop bought ready to sit on the back seat (not the cat!)

Very nice indeed. I think you need to change your sig line, unless you are looking for another one.

- Exciting times! I was just looking at this pic ... What a beautiful Blumo! With the dirt and stuff on the front of it, its stance, just a great friggin' job on this one, Adam. And congrats to you, Mr. Rover, you waited and waited and got yourself an awesome car. And you can GPS track the ship? All very cool.

The dirt on the front is road salt from the truck towing the trailer, she'll need a good wash when she gets there.

It actually looks really cool all dirty! Oh, I always kept it dirty, I took it down a muddy dirt road as far into the woods as I could without getting stuck one day to dirty it up, I just don't want the salt to eat it away so I suggested washing it.

Yeah I'll be keeping it dirty but clean if you know what I mean! It'll only be used in what little summer we get here too.

Let's just hope the ship doesn't sink, mid-Atlantic! ;D Rob Don't say that, my friend sold a Skylark ragtop to a guy in England and the ship sank with the car. The car will make it there fine Ben.
