The Blues Brothers (Elwood and Zee) appeared on Saturday Night Live's 40th Anniversary Special, singing "Everybody Needs Somebody To Love" before the show cut to commercials. They were at the end of this 15-minute segment: Watch From Saturday Night Live - NBC.comThis is the first time Jim Belushi has ever appeared as Zee on SNL, and the first time Dan Aykroyd has been on as Elwood since 2001 (although they did bring their "Have Love Will Travel" revue to the show in 2003). Only the live audience got to hear the whole song -- and that audience included John Goodman, who interacted with Jerry Seinfeld during his segment. But Goodman, frankly, didn't seem like he would have been up for performing as Mighty Mack.

The only thing about the SNL 40th Anniversary show posted to Dan Aykroyd's Facebook page was this photo -- "I had a great time performing with the very talented Taylor Swift at the SNL40 after party!" (Jim Belushi can be seen on the left.)
