I'm posting this car to see if I can get more 74-78 c body mopars, sedans or wagons, I would like 3 bodies and frames with front suspension, 3 front bumpers, and 3 rear bumpers that are rust free or close to it. Can be in pieces, not all parts have to match, I can do the hauling, depending on the distance and arrangement made for fuel cost only. I'm not looking to give this car away, I've built a bluesmobile before and I know how hard it is to come up with all the right pieces. this isn't a perfect match, but its a darn good start. or $2500 the 74 is just a rolling shell and just so everyone knows, the interior is green, not tan, and has seen her better days. the car had a big block in it, the 400 now sits in a 69 charger, it reads 11xxx on the odometer assuming its 111,xxx. there is only one small spot of rust in the car and that's the rear trunk pocket drivers side. It does have a few minor dents n dings. I do have everything to make it a driver, I would be glad to do some kind of trading for. I do not have a title, will sell with bill of sale. It is best to call me, I do text, but I will not text a conversation. springfield.craigslist.org/cto/4916092729.htmlthanks Richard 641-891-8235 Lebanon, MO 65536

Looks like a decent car. I'd be shocked if that's the ONLY rust on it, but it's got a nice looking front end on it!
I hope some body grabs it up, I see demo derby cars in the background.

I'm thinking, roof, glass, nose, without a title a '73 and newer car in NY is parts or scrap so it's definitely a parts car only to me. A bit pricy because shipping a none running car this big gets expensive, I might email him an offer and see what happens. Too bad the interior is trashed (and green).

linkthis is where the last Monaco went that I put together. endorsed by the John Belushi Estate. I sold this car for more than the $2500. It did have a 360 in it, with no title, and it isn't a 74 Please quit sending me emails with low ball offers or asking me if I'll take less. there is a 99% chance that I won't! But If I did, it would ONLY be because someone came and looked at the car in person and made a TRUE offer! and just to clarify, this is in NO WAY a Parts car!!!

I find it hard to believe that you are getting beat up on pricing from guys on this board? At least not regulars. And even if you are F'em! Stand your ground and hold onto the car, eventually you will get what you need. 74 sedan, non vent window cars are hard to come by. Ultimately price is dictated by what someone is willing to pay vs what you are willing to take, eventually the two lines will cross. Three years ago I'd be looking hard at this car, but I'd also like to have an idea of what it would take $$ to bring it home before I drove to MO. In my opinion, a good front end is worth $1500 all by itself. My comment about the rust is based simply on my known data points of the cars I have had and have worked on. And I stand by it. I truly find it hard to believe that a car from this area of the world to be rust free, but yet have a big hole in the bottom of the quarter panel. I'm not knocking it, its just a fact I know about these cars from my personal experience. Every one of these cars I have worked on has had rust in the cowl/wiper box area. To 58hemifury's point, I don't think hes calling it a parts car per se. He just stated that in his state without a title, it cant be anything more than a parts car. So I'm sure his offer was adjusted accordingly factoring that in along with transportation costs for HIS project needs. Plus, by now we all know he's a cheap ass! J/K 58hf! For what its worth, I like the green interior, that is very workable. A long weekend and a case of SEM cameltoe and you can have a tan interior in no time! Most tan seats would need to be recovered anyway. I have a rebuildable 400/727 core with all the 74 accessories and brackets, I'd sell cheap, that would be great for this car.

Spanks, I agree with you almost 100% - I've bought n sold over 300 of these (formal cars) over the yrs. several more pics at this link link as far as the emails/offers/gestures coming from here, I cant say for sure because they are craigslist emails, but I do know that I posted this car on hear 1st with no replies, then posted it on the 3rd on craigslist with not replies, until the 6th when someone posted my listing on here. it just seemed like no one on here wanted to low ball me but as soon as it could be done anonymously, I started getting the emails. And if it wasn't anyone on here, then the comment wasn't for them. I meant for the comment to be for them and I made the comment from here because of when I started receiving them. I do respect you guys and that's why I posted it here 1st well before craigslist, ( jan 10th ) I sent Steam McQueen a pic from the hotel I was staying at after picking it up. It will become a bluemobile someday, just when and where, time will tell. and for future references for all of you that don't know, there are several states that you can get titles through halfway easy if your state is a pain in the neck. Texas and Oklahoma are 2 close to me, and if you know someone there, its pretty easy. Texas is better in my opinion, OK does a title 42 or something like that but its a legal title. I believe there are title companies in Alabama or Georgia that get them for you for a fee.
