I bought my Monaco a few years back from Huey in Florida. Had it shipped here and it sat for a bit while I got a game plan and started to accumulate parts for the build. A 74 with a good running 400, clean rust free floors and very complete, she was a great starting point for my build.
...more to come

A stable-mate to my '75 Blumo...awesome! Mine was marked on the underhood heater box (I assume by Huey) as No. 41....let me know if yours has a number! Rob

I never found any markings like yours had. Hmmm...makes me wonder now, if it was in fact marked by the Ohio State Patrol agency, from whence it originated. Rob

^ Haha. I believe we're maxed out on the attachment limit. Carlito is having the same problem. I've been going back through the old, old for sale threads and switching the attachments for photobucket. It gives us a bit of room but a few weeks later we're maxed out again. ^ That's a free pic there, very quick and just copy the link to your post. No registration or sign-in. postimage.org/Or as always just send me some pics and I'll put them in our photobucket album. * Postimage is no good now. Try tinypic.

I found this under my back seat when I started working on my Monaco...interesting. I was hoping this wasn't going to be a sign of bad luck

Sorry, I don't have a lot of the old pics to post. We've all seen bondo and primer, right? I am a mechanic by trade, not a bodyman. So I worked out a deal with my good friend Jon, who is a bodyman. I rebuilt the transmission in his Jeep and he would help me do all the bodywork and paint my Monaco. We were in business! He straightened the passenger fender and found the drivers fender had been hit a long time ago and was full of rust and bondo, I would need to find a new drivers fender. The paint had rust embedded in it all over the car, the more it was sanded, the more rust came to the surface. We ended up stripping the whole car down to bare metal...too much work . We found both dog legs were rusted and too thin to be repaired, and both lower quarters were rusted and would need to be patched. Jon built a patch panel for the left dog leg from scratch. That turned out really nice. I had bought a right quarter panel off of bluzman and patched that in successfully. We also patched the lower quarters with sheetmetal. It was coming along but still a lot to do.

Cool. I remember looking at that car in 2012 and thought about buying it.
Are you interested in selling one of your spotlights? I have one but its in rough condition.

You know what REALLY sucks? When this car was for sale on Ebay, it came as a package deal with another 76 cop Royal parts car. I could not afford to get both cars shipped so I told Huey I only wanted the 74. I still regret that to this day but It would have been close to 2 grand to get both cars shipped(the 76 was a roller, did not run or drive, they charge more $ if they cant drive the car onto the transport truck). I hate to think of the good sheetmetal on the other car I could have used or even making a Chicago PD car out of it. Oh well. Out of the 3 unity's, 2 are not complete, and 1 is complete. I have not tested any of them yet, I have to dig them out of the attic in my garage to see exactly what I have. I will let you know in a couple of days if I have anything extra that is good.
