Ah yes my import guy told me about this one last week. Looks nice but do I take the plunge and hope a 74 front end will turn up somewhere?

If the car is rust free, rust is the BIGGEST ISSUE with these cars. That's why I started with a '77 Royal Brougham. I had to change more stuff but I had a rust free body to start.

Looks nice but do I take the plunge and hope a 74 front end will turn up somewhere? Go for it! If there's no serious rust issues you'd have a sedan with the proper paint, pushbars, proper taillights and a tan interior. Although I'm not sure what to make of the pushbars in this pic ... Might be foam props, lol. Not sure but yeah what the hell, not a bad looking car. Some interior pics would be nice, definitely a tan interior.

Or wait for what you want but pay more. A rust free done car may pop up but look at the one that Bill did that he bought from Jenny, that sold for over $12,000. I'll sell you mine, look at the thread and make a realistic offer, it will be about a month before I get the title back from the state but then I'd sell it.

Amazing blumo. I'd love it but it's going to be way too rich for me. If you ever want to sell up and feel generous then give me a shout lol. Sent from my SM-G900F using proboards

I just spoke with this guy on the phone. I live close enough that I could go look at it if anyone needed me to. He said it runs GREAT, no transmission issues(shifts good). It has a new fuel pump and tires. It has a tan cloth interior in 'pretty good' shape, the drivers seat has some tears. He said it did have some rust but a friend of his 'filled the holes with bondo' and then they painted the car. He said overall it is not perfect but a nice car. He said he is a little negotiable on the price. This might be a nice starting project for the money. Tony

I bought mine from Florida and had it shipped to Illinois. It was worth all of the $900 I paid to have it shipped here. It is not always easy to find a clean cheap Monaco near where you live.

Mine was shipped from Washington state to NY, only rust free tan interior four door sedan I could find. Mine cost me $950 to ship and was worth it, c bodies are rare, between Hollywood, rust, and demo derbies we're lucky there are any left. If you need a shipping quote I know an honest broker, she's awesome, I'll give you her number.
