"Moin Moin", as we say in northern Germany (it means something like "Howdy!" or "Hi y'all!).
My name is Ulrich and I drive a ... no, not a Bluesmobile unfortunately ... but a 1975 Dodge Dart Special Edition.
However, and of course, I would LOVE to be a proud owner of a replica of Elwood and Jakes wonderful vehicle! While looking for infos on Blumos I stumbled upon this cool forum. Here I am, looking forward to be part of interesting conversations, exchange of infos and whatever will happen.
Regards, Ulrich

- Welcome, Ulrich. You have a 1975 Dart, I had a 1975 Duster! 225 slant-6 which ran great. It was the 3rd of 3 Dusters I enjoyed, the 2nd one with the slant-6 and I never had a problem with those motors. Do you have the 318 in your Dart? My 1st Duster had the 318 and I never had a problem with that motor either Once in awhile we'll see Bluesmobiles for sale in Germany. There's a BB2000 Blumo (clone, not one of the movie cars) for sale right now in Germany. And for sure we also see Monaco Blumo's for sale in Germany. Maybe you'll find your future ride right here in these forums! Thanks for joining.

Welcome aboard, I for a short time had a '68 Dart GT, slant 6/console auto, with a radio delete. I was collecting parts to build a Hemi Dart clone but sold everything when I bought my Amphicar. I swore that if I got an Amphicar I wouldn't buy any more cars or projects and sold the 3 project cars I had. Since that lie I bought my '75 Gran Fury Police car and my Monaco Bluesmobile project.

Thank you all for your welcome messages!
Yes, exactly, "Moin, Moin!" is what they say in "Das Boot". Some southern Germans think it means something like "Good morning!", but that's not right and one can say it all day and all night. :-)
Those are cool cars you have along with your Bluesmobiles. Congratulations! My '75 Dart SE is a hardtop, V8 with 318 small block, red with white vinyl roof. "Special Edition" means plush and velour interior plus 3-speed-windshield wiper. But at least the cigarette lighter isn't working. ;-)
A long time ago, during my scholarship year at UCLA I had a '68 Dart. It was a slant-6, in pristine white with blue (turquoise?) interior. Being a student, I couldn't afford to bring the car back to Germany with me back then. However, I've regretted that decision all my life. 3 years ago, my friends got tired of me whining about that all the time and they "forced" me into acquiring the "new" Dart.
Well, and as things go, I love that car, Mopars in general, and Bluesmobiles in particular so much, that sooner or later it might be time for... realizing yet another dream! :-))

Seems like Darts are the choice of Blumo guys everywhere...I've owned around 5 of them, all 67's or 68's, all 318's, and the last '68 I put the 440 into, and drove it for years...the 440 now destined for the Blumo. Rob

"Moin Moin", as we say in northern Germany (it means something like "Howdy!" or "Hi y'all!). And I thought that my work colleagues from Lübeck wrote moi(finnish for "hello") wrong in their emails.
