Some questions from an Englishman So does the rust on this look scary to anyone here? Or is it an relatively easy fix? Whats the 360 motor actually like? Is it ok to live with or would I regret not holding out for a 440? It's only for cruising after all and won't be a daily driver with our VERY high fuel costs here . Anyone want to help buy and ship this for me? Ben

The rust is like looking at the tip of an iceburg. Theres only gonna be more behind it. I wouldnt be scared of the quarter panels. Its the dog legs/rocker panels id be afraid of. These cars dont have a full frame. The rocker panels are a big structural part of these cars. They hold em together.
Id walk away from it. To much rust. There is plenty of other royals out there mich cleaner, around the same price..

Mmmm I'd still be tempted if it were cheap enough but I've got about a $3000 bill on top just to ship it home BEFORE I start any work on it Hopefully Sent from my phone

Reserve is a LOT more than the bidding, let's just say more than anyone here would want to spend. It has a lot of rust, or as I like to call it, an air conditioned floor!!!

Too much rot in that car to make shipping it over here worthwile. You can tell it used to be a royal as the bumper sticks out too far from the grille. I had the same issue with my 75 royal to 74 conversion. Ended up drilling the bumper shocks and moving the whole assembly back then welding the lot up. Seems the bumper shocks are different??
