This old car went to the crusher today,,,but I want you to know it fought me all the way. I got stung, cut, mashed fingers and busted knuckles. Not to mention went I flipped if back over it rolled down the hill into a thicket.

Did you grab anymore off of it? Or is that how she went to the scrap heap? Seems like a lot of parts went with it..

I'd like to make an observation on nighttrain's personality and generosity. It's fantastic. I had asked about a couple small detail items from the '75 and not only did they arrive with lightning speed, they were not the only items in the box. A few other pieces were thrown in for good measure. Things that I hadn't even discussed. Big thanks go out to him. I'm guessing that I have been researching the Bluesmobile for about 15 years now and I must say, the prices that he offered for parts, here to the board, are/ were some of (if not thee) lowest I've ever seen. I was on the verge of inventing items that I might need just to get in on the deal(s). An asset to the hobby for sure.

That was a factory Resse-stye hitch. Notice the Chrysler emblem on the trailer plug-in lid. It was on the bay with all the other stuff, but nobody bit on it,so,, it got crushed. There was really nothing left on the car besides what I took off that was worth saving. The back doors were rusted shut. The hood was the best part of the whole car, it had been left up for 20 years. Probably saved the hood but ruined the engine.

Remember folks, there is another one waiting to be brought out of the woods. 1975, Nice black interior with puke-mat floor, 140 speedo, 440 already out hanging in the garage. I just talked to the guy and he said as soon as it dries up he is going to get it down and let me know what he wants to do with it. He, like myself lives in the middle of nowhere and doesn't have high speed internet. I have sattlite internet which costs out the wang and aint worth a crap. He has indicated that he would like to see the car restored and not parted out. He also says he has inspected it since I talked to him last and it is a solid car from what he can tell.

If it could be had for a low-enough price, it could be a great candidate for an unmarked car restoration.
