I was able to acquire a total of 7 sets of original, unused, CHP style pushbar bumpers. These came from a California government surplus dealer. 5 sets are already gone, so I have 2 pairs remaining that are up for grabs. The first set is nearly pristine, with the exception of some dirt and grime that should clean up easy. It is hard to see in the photo, but these are absolutely unused. They still even have the little rubber bumps from the injection molding machine. 65 + shipping This second pair has a bit of damage: One piece is unused but has a small chunk taken out of the lower edge. The other half of the pair looks like it has been used. It has a slice across the front and a few other small rub marks. Here is a close-up of the hardest hit area: I paid 65, but obviously can not ask the same amount as the other pairs, so I can let these go for $50 + shipping, if anyone is interested. Some more shots... If anyone is interested in one of these remaining two pairs, just shoot me a PM, or post here. .

Down to the last pair.
Like I mentioned, they are slightly chewed, but from a few feet away you can hardly tell.
My idea was to smooth out the rough spots with some black silicone. But, for a Bluesmobile, I'm sure they would look fine... even as is.
Again, if anyone is interested, just send me a note.
*I'm sure it will be a long while before more of these surface.

2013 Update:
I have a line on four more sets of bumpers. They are from the same source as last time, but I've been informed that the cost has gone up a few bucks. 72 + ship.
If there are 4 members interested, I will go forward. These are as rare as hen's teeth, so I figure grab them while you can.

I sent the last ones "priority mail - flat rate". I'm "pretty sure" it was around 5.50
I recently sent a priority mail package that was also the same shape/size/weight to Canada and that was 11 dollars.

Cool. That's 4.
I sent a follow up note to the surplus supplier yesterday, just waiting for a reply.

Thread rises back from the crypt. In my "Downtime" thread, 77granfury inspired me to once again check with my few California equipment surplus contacts, not expecting much, after all this time. But... surprisingly, I got a reply. I've been informed that one of them may actually have a few unused NOS sets available! Not 100% sure just yet, as to how many sets they might have, or if they are truly NOS, but it looks very promising. Of course, in the last 8 years, the cost has gone up. I'm told they are 90 bucks a pair + shipping. If anyone is currently interested, please shout out, and I will look into it further.
