I want it so bad, but I am sure I don't have enough to purchase it at the moment.

I'm wondering how high it will go. I'd bid but I already own toooooooo many cars and tooooo little money. If I didn't have the '75 Gran Fury I'd be bidding tho.

This car is brought to you by none other than Laguna Matt. I suppose it depends on what you mean by "correct". The motor and transmission are out of his 74 Fury: That's some good info there, Arthur. We see how Matt steered away from saying "original" motor. -

If someone wins it, I wonder how long it will take for Matt to deliver? ;D

I've been emailing with him, he said it's a correct date coded engine, never said it is not the original in so many words but never said it is either. Doesn't sound bad but doesn't sound doesn't mean isn't. I really want this car but it'd have to sell super cheap for me to get it and I'm sure it won't. There's a '73 Polara on EBAY right now too, my two favorite Police cars at once. I might try on the Polara and If I get it may sell my '75 Gran Fury but that's a tough call, my '75 is in great shape and has more NOS parts than I've ever seen in one place.

he said it's a correct date coded engine, never said it is not the original in so many words but never said it is either. Oh that seems extra sneaky. It seems a long stretch to say that a motor from the same year is a "correct date code". Doesn't sound bad but doesn't sound doesn't mean isn't. I have some pics of the car before Matt got it, but I've been asked by the picture-taker to not post them. I know that sounds like a tease, but that's the story. The car was out in the rain forever without a front passenger window (as the bumper was stored inside the car, and it wouldn't fit with the window intact, so the window was busted to make room for storing the bumper). The floorboard was rusted out, and the interior was obviously hurt from being exposed to the environment. Matt's replaced the original wheels, and done a good job of posting pics from angles that show the car in its best light (such as not showing the rear package tray area).

Busted the window so they could store the bumper? BRILLIANT! Coulda just left the bumper on top the car.

So basically what I'm reading here is a buyers beware on this car more secrets than anyone wants to deal with I'm guessing.

I think what Matt meant as "no CHP equipment included" means the car doesn't come with the CHP specific push bars, spotlights, shotgun rack with ticket light, rear deck lights/ mounts or any Actual CHP agency police equipment. I don't consider rear tray holes or holes in the dash for shotgun CHP "equipment."
