Hey to all, I am Klaus from Germany, Bochum is my Hometown. I just found this board last days and I have a bluesmobile. So I registerd here. Look at my homepage to see my friends and me and my bluesmobile. www.bochumerbluesbande.deYou see more at the german version of my homepage, but I promis to make the english version better at the next days (or weeks ;-). I catched my bluesmobile 2006 at ebay for a small price. That was the beginning of very much fun. Now I have a lot to read here.

Welcome, Klaus!
I visited your web-site. It looks like you have a lot of happy blues brothers memories, getting to dance on stage, and visiting Chicago.
That's a nice BB2K blumo you have. Did you have any trouble having the pushbars installed (against the German road rules)?
your friend in blumos around the world, arthur

The pushbar is easy and quick removeable and fits into the trunk. So I use the pushbar only at us-car-meetings and blues brothers events. I build the pushbar from a blueprint that I found on BBC 3 or 4 years ago.

Welcome.
Have you tried to put a CE-sticker + some extra lights to the pushbar and just lie to the tüv people that "this is is a light bar"?
I've been planning a hydraulic pushbar for my Monaco, point is that the vehicle's length stays the same when the pb is at the "bumper position". Actually that's just an idea I had a while back, pushbars are illegal in Finland too.

If this car would a realy police car, then I could say, it is part of the original. Then it could be possible to get an OK for the pushbar. But my car is not an original police car :-( My garage has the same length as the car has, so I can´t put it in the garage with the pb on the front. But I am happy to have this garage, normal garages in germany are too short for a realy great car! Thanks to all for the nice start here Klaus
