#2 is in Sweden, I remember reading that now, the guy with the pushbar blueprints has one (the only police package car I think he said) but no mention of which number or location, this one for sale now which is the other Orlando car,#8, New Orleans' got flooded in Katrina (anyone know what number that was?), sold on Ebay and disappeared as far as I know, and number 3 is rusting peacefully behind a garage at an undisclosed location in upstate NY waiting for it's owner to "fix it up someday". I guess I kept better track of them than I thought, so that's 4 known of still around, any one know what happened to New Orleans or the others? What numbers the others are?

When getting ready for last years Great Race, we went to HOB in NOLA to buy stuff to give out on the 9 day trek. I mentioned we had a car if they ever needed one and lady in gift shop said the NOLA HOB owner has one. I have never seen it or met the owner. So, may still be there but going on two years since that event

Does being a HOB car really add that much value? This car looks pretty roached for 15k.

Some asshole paid almost $500,000 for a Trans Am because Burt Reynolds supposedly owned it, the car was never in the movie Smokey and the Bandit but was supposedly use for promos at a theater, and some asshole just paid $250,000 for a roached out '58 Plymouth that was a give away contest car from USA TV back when Christine was out in theaters but had no other link to the movie so if one of these guys who have more money than brains is a Blues Brothers fan I'd say yes, and a lot more. When HOB 3 is back together we'll see how it does at Barret Jackson.

When HOB 3 is back together we'll see how it does at Barret Jackson. They were owned by a corporation that Dan Aykroyd was a co-founder of, I'll agree with that, but I disagree with the statement that they are the closest thing to a movie car. They look like they were slapped together quickly at best for promotional purposes only and to make a connection for the new business. No effort was put into making them movie accurate nor have they had a lasting impact on the HOB brand, otherwise they would have been taken care of and not left to rot.

I love the extra ratty look of this car, doesn't bother me it isn't movie accurate. But, 15K+ for a Monaco..pass.

I vetted it for a gentleman. Rough on the rust side but I hate rust. If it runs and stops, get it cheaper and roll with it. Phish
