Hi all. I just joined, I don't own a Bluesmobile clone (or at the moment a Mopar police car) but I am a Police car enthusiast and am in the market for a mid 70s Police Dodge or Plymouth C-body. My Current daily driver is a '00 Crown Vic PI and I have owned a '78 Fury E86 U-code Fury in the past as a daily driver, 2 Diplomats and a '98 CVPI. I currently own a '58 Fury with a '68 426 Hemi/4 speed/ Dana 60 4:10, a '57 Plymouth Savoy with a '72 400, dual quads/727/ 8 3/4 rear with 3:91 gears, a '64 Amphicar, a '27 Model T fenderless roadster pick up with a '59 Plymouth 318 with 3 strombergs hooked to a Chevy powerglide and a '56 Chevy rear with 3:73 gears, an '06 Manum R/T AWD and an all original '73 Road Runner, 400, auto,3:55 rear. I'm a fan of the Blues Brothers movie and I must adit it inspired the police car owning in my life but I'm not really interested in building a Bluesmobile clone, I'm looking to do an original car. I was really impressed with all of the research you guys do, not only on the movie but on the Mopar police cars themselves. I've learned a lot from your threads.

Hey 58! Welcome. We post a lot of 74 to 77 C-body for sale so maybe this site will help you find the car you're looking for. Impressive fleet you've had / have. '58 Fury ... '57 Savoy ... is there a Christine thing going on anywhere there?

Here's a pic of my '58 Fury, amazingly it is NOT a Christine clone. It's an original Fury (one of 66 known to exist), it has a '68 426 Hemi, 4 speed and a 4:10 Dana 60. Attachments:

Lovely! I've always wanted an actual "Schwimmwagen", but they're too pricey.
And I guess without googlin the value, that they're not giving away these amphicars either.

No, they used to be fairly reasonable considering their rarity but 3 went on Barrett Jackson in the last few years for over $100,000 and that just drove the prices up.
