Hi all,
I have joined this forum to try sell my life sized figurines of the Blues Brothers sitting down, one with his leg crossed and arms behind his head and the other sitting normally.
They are both in really good condition.
Ideally I am looking what I paid for them which was £800 but will consider any offers. They can be posted anywhere in Ireland or United Kingdom as part of the price, anywhere else outside of these countries you pay for delivery.
Regards,
Ciaran

The full size sitting statues can seem to be the harder set to find, 'round here anyway. We see a lot of the full size standing set. Good luck with the sale.

Just got a pair of these. My daughter noticed a little white sticker on bottom of foot said made in the Philippines. Are these original? Some of the bases have music notes on them and some do not. Why is this and which are worth more?

... made in the Philippines. Are these original? I honestly don't know where they were made. As for the musical notes on the base, I lean towards that being the way they were made and sold and if those notes are missing then they were probably worn off. I've also noticed on occasion what looks like a replacement base, homemade type thing, no notes. So if the notes are missing maybe they wore off or the base was replaced at some point in time. So you have the standing statues? Does Elwood have all of his fingers? Oh, welcome to the site by the way.

Hi everyone, looking for some help.
I bought my dad a pair of the statues YEARS ago, they are the same style everyone was talking about but check in at just shy of and just over 3 ft. Only seen the full size and 2ft ones talked about, is anyone familiar with these?
He needs to downsize and unfortunately I can't take them so trying to find a new home for them but have no idea on worth.
Any help is appreciated

^ Hey Boston !! Regarding your statues ... ... but check in at just shy of and just over 3 ft. We mostly keep track of the sometimes outrageous prices for the full-size statues. I seem to recall usually seeing the smaller ones in the $200-$300 range, I think. For example here's a set listed as, "3 FOOT TALL MADE OF RESIN" asking price is $300 ... - tampa.craigslist.org/pnl/clt/d/the-blues-brothers/6195002488.html----- So your statues are made of resin? Are all fingers intact? Sunglasses? Did they live quietly? What were their personal habits?

- Asking $1,800 for the pair in Dallas ... They look to be in original condition, I think. As in I think those sunglasses might be the original pairs, Elwood seems to have all his fingers, and the bases look original with what I believe are the musical notes on them that Jeanne had mentioned above - dallas.craigslist.org/sdf/cbd/d/blues-brothers-standing/6244101316.html
