By "royal", I mean "hideaway headlight style", including the non-royal 1976 base monaco. By "blumo style", I mean non-hideaway headlight style. Here's some info from Bluzman: -------------- To convert your 77 Royal to a 74 front clip..you will need the 1974 fenders, front header panel, grill and headlight bezels along with the actual headlamp holders from the radiator support, front bumper and the bumper extensions ....the 74s are shorter than the 77s. The holes in the radiator support are the same, but you will need to swap the nutserts(u-clips) from the 74 core support to your 77..but it is a direct bolt in. You will have some extra wiring from your 77 that you will not need...ie: 12v source for the headlamp door motor, etc. Also the front parking lamps/turn signals are located inside the 74 front bumper.....the 77s are not. However, the 77s I have converted had the the brougham optional lights in the front lower fenders..just adapted the lamp pigtails to the 74 bumper..had to lengthen them a bit...hope this helps.....the worst part for me was the inner fender to fender bolts..they are always rusty and you will probaly break a few of u-clips. -------------- from BBC www.bluesbrotherscentral.com/forum/topic/10069-75-conversion-info/#entry122589
