Seats and trim panels look great! I am due to get my seats back from the trim shop any day now... we'll see how mine turn out.

The original dash had been recovered.I stripped it down to origina lhard plastic covering, made the repairs, and recovered it.The seat headrests were the only thing I dyed

Damn! That dash is nice. It never occurred to me that the faux finish vinyl dash could be stripped off and recovered with real material and stitching.

Hi guys; I was a little confused, but I think I'm figuring it out. The original dash had been recovered. I see this pic: here www.bluesmobiles.proboards.com/index.cgi?action=gotopost&board=sedans&thread=930&post=6293and it doesn't have the stock indentation between the two passenger air vents, like this: from bluesmobiles.proboards.com/index.cgi?action=gotopost&board=owners&thread=45&post=2656So Bill, are you saying that when you received the car, the dash had been recovered in blue vinyl, and that the original hard plastic covering underneath had already been stripped away, so that when you removed the blue vinyl, you were already at the foam, and then you recovered with brown/tan vinyl? your friend in slowly catching up, arthur

That is correct. The dash was already recovered in blue vinyl and so were the seats.I stripped off the blue vinyl made repairs to the original dash and recovered it.The seats were recovered also over top of the original interior, which by the way was in pretty good shape
