This is always a fun and diverse thread on any forum focusing on a singular car type. I'll get the ball rolling: For me, my daily driver is a 1972 Eldorado. It's a little rough around the edges, what with having almost 89k on the odometer, but it's fun. What else gets driven while the Monacos are under restoration? Attachments:

One of these? Interesting. I've seen them on TV, but never in real life.

Well I think there's a few pictures of my daily driver in the background of a few shots, but here's mine: It's a 2001 Crown Victoria, ex Indio, CA squad car. It's a fun one to drive, people drive a lot safer around me, but it gets annoying when you're on a one lane highway and people drive 55 in a 65... The big antenna on the roof is for my police scanner, and the whip on the trunk is for a CB. Pretty useful items when going on roadtrips...

I'd like to have a 98-up fullsize Ford/Merc as a daily driver, but thanks to our import car tax it's not going to happen anytime soon. For example: www.nettiauto.com/ford/crown-victoria/5061769 We've got 2 Ford Mondeo mk3 stw's now-01&03, both equipped with horribly lazy 1,8l engines, both have about 230000km on the odometer, but they're quite nice cars to drive(for a fwd that is). looks like en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ford_Mondeo#Third_generation_.282000.E2.80.932007.29Then there's the 01 Opel Omega 2,2 diesel stw(aka Vauxhall Carlton or Cadillac Catera)waiting for a new windshield + some minor work to get it through the vehicle inspection. Very nice car to drive with good "mpg", big minus is the 450 eur/year diesel tax(we really got taxes here). I could drop the tax to about 70 eur/year by registering it as a 2 seater "van", but our family size is 5 seats. 548000km on the odometer. en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Opel_OmegaAnd there's also the 88 Civic as a spare car, which is usually borrowed to my mom.

I also have a 2000 Grand Marquis, and it has almost that same mileage (kilometerage?), about 70,000 mi / 112,500 km. It's a great car. Here's a recent glamor shot... I probably shouldn't be posting in this thread, though, because this isn't my "other" car -- it's currently my only car!

Quite interesting to see the taste in cars around here; apparently larger RWD platforms are a common choice.
I also have no problem with someone posting their only car as, after all, it IS a daily driver.
Presently, I'm debating picking up a police package Dodge Charger for a more modern car; not that modern vehicles are a necessity.

Mine has been a 1988 Ford Ranger pick up, it has 360,000 miles on it and the engine out lived the seals. I took it off the road for an engine swap after purchasing a 1993 F 150 super cheap from a guy at work. The engine change dragged on because I was in no particular hurry until one day when someone decided they wanted to turn left in front of me as I was going through an intersection. 93 F150 totaled, now what, drive the Blumo and motorcycle daily until I received the insurance check from the F150. Then I found a 1984 Ford LTD Country Squire that will become a Wagon Queen Family Truckster. I got this on Craigslist in Sabetha Kansas, it had the correct color interior for a truckster. It drives great, I have been fixing it up and changing out parts since I bought it back in July. I have been driving this daily, when the Ranger is back on the road and running well I will start the Truckster conversion. You think you hate it now, but wait until you drive it! ;D

^ I also have a red car in the driveway ... I think I'm going on 6 years with this one. A/C works in the summer, heat works in the winter.
