Well it's not diecast but it is for sale. It's a handmade resin kit 1:87 HO scale. I guess 1:87 is automatically considered HO scale? -
The kit includes one resin body, two axles, four wheels and chassis and interior. This kit requires significant rework, sanding and trimming. Proper finishing require, modeling putty and a Dremel tool. This cottage industry produced model does not meet the same standards as high volume manufacturers such as Brekina or Busch. That said this very unique model would look good on any train layout. Model skill required is "experience".
Apparently that 1:87 Blumo was going to be sold as a kit but I don't know if that ever happened.
Figured I'd give this little model its own thread. For sale now on daBay looking for a starting bid of $11.00
Hmmm ... now I think I'm looking at 2 different models.?
You are bidding on a very crude resin kit produced by hand by a cottage industry hobbyist. Kit completion requires a high level of modeling expertise. The kit will need cleaning of all heavy casting flash with a Dremel tool. The kit will also need finishing putty and fitting prior to assembly. The kit includes one body, one chassis with an interior tub,two axles and four cast wheels. Only a limited number of kits will be sold and produced.
