Now that everyone is squared away, I have a few extra shirts.
I bought extra to round out the order and help to bring the price down a bit. If anyone out there is interested, and didn't get in on the run, there are still a few available.

Sorry, I missed this post.
The biggest setback is finding a shop that has the proper cups and also allows for full height printing.

All I have right now is a Small-orange and a Large-white.
Other members have also asked about them recently, so if there is enough interest, I could look into having another run of shirts made.

I didn't know if we should have one thread for "orange whip shirt/hat/cup" and another for "orange whip machine", so I put this here, and I can split it out later if it seems best. Here: www.bluesmobiles.proboards.com/index.cgi?action=gotopost&board=stuffsale&thread=1224&post=9051I wrote about how I was interested in an orange whip machine, like this one: from secure.flickr.com/photos/slyle133/6778528514/in/photostream/and TK826 wrote: Idea light bulb! Find a vintage "Jet-Spray" drink dispenser and add your own label. The machine doesn't have to be Blue either. I have many old photos of double and single Orange Whip machines and none of them are Blue. All of them are either White or off white/ light tan. * But they are all "Jet-Spray" brand dispensers. Brilliant, TK! Do all of them have the same paint job as the orange whip machine here? Can you post some pics? I may not be able to trade for an orange whip machine, but I can make a replica! It looks like the orange whip machine here is a Cornelius Jet Spray JS7, JW5 or JW6, with standard circulator assembly, and optional whipper assembly. Here: www.ebookhall.com/cornelius-cold-beverage-dispenser-training-manual-for-cornelius-jetspray-js7-beverage-dispenser/pdf-preview-cornelius-cold-beverage-dispenser-training-manual-for-cornelius-jetspray-js7-beverage-dispenser/I found a manual on the Jet Spray JS7 with a lot of good info. It looks like there were 3 types of circulator assemblies: These 2 optional: and the standard, which I think is shown in these pics and in the orange whip machine pic above: That FLICKR page has a great pic of the logo: and the text: > After lil work, its up and running. An original Orange Whip Drink > Machine with working whipping mechanism The "whipping mechanism" seems to be the optional whipper assembly discussed in the manual: 2.2 Whipper Assembly Jet Spray's optional, patented whipper aerates and whips the beverage before it leaves the bowl. This exclusive whipping process is the most sanitary in the industry, keeping the beverage under refrigeration at all times, even during whipping. Each serving is individually whipped and overruns of 35%-40% are obtained with most specially formulated whipped drink bases. A simple external adjustment allows the amount of overrun or foam head to be varied as desired. The patented whipper is held securely in place magnetically and can be easily slipped in and out of the bowl for changeover from whipped to nonwhipped drinks. It looks like the logo is painted on the outside of the container, and that the container is plastic. Does that sound right? The JS7 manual is dated "March 9, 2000". And the pics look just like the orange whip machine here. Have they really been making the exact same thing for 30+ years? Here are some pics of a JS7 from www.ebay.com/itm/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=200904253016&item=200904253016&vectorid=229466And a JW6 www.ebay.com/itm/Jet-Spray-Beverage-Cooler-Dispenser-With-Whipper-Chamber-/230896151581?pt=LH_DefaultDomain_0&hash=item35c27bac1dIt's not obvious to me what the differences are between the models, or what model the orange whip machine on flickr is. The JS7, JW5, JW6 all use the same bowl. your friend in whipping it up, arthur

Check out the photo of the Blue machine again. You can see that it is a clear decal with the logo printed on it.
You can see the outline of the rectangle shaped decal and that it is starting to separate from the machine at the top (greyish air bubbles) and that the bottom right corner of the decal is curled upward.
I'll gather some photos of the original machines and be back later.

Front and back: Side: Hopefully this may help to narrow down the exact model. This machine below, like the Blue machine above, has the word "Jetbank" embossed on the side. In color:

Those are some great pics, TK. I think your pics show that orange whip machines originally came with a label on the front and back, and the blue machine is missing its front label. Good thing I didn't trade any rolling stones memorabilia for it.
And your pics show that the machine had the standard "push the cap against the lever" flow lever. It looks like that setup is "non-sanitary" nowadays, and Jet Spray has an alternate lever setup:
That page and the one following show that the JW6 is contextually either the add-on whip chamber to a JS7, or a JS7 that has the whip-chamber. And the JW5 is a JS7 with a whip chamber for 220V.

I've been doing some serious craigslisting, and got together parts from four different Jet Spray machines. Here are the key parts that I put together that I thought would make an acceptable orange-whip machine.
I spent a many hours with photoshop, and made an image for the transparent vinyl logo for each end, and sent it off to vistaprint.
The JetSpray machine setup is pretty ingenious. The cooling rods stick through from the bottom compartment through the bowl, but there are no other mechanical intrusions into the bowl. The liquid is pumped via an impeller, driven by a magnet in the base. And the "whipping champer" works in a similar way. When you press the dispensing lever on a non-whipping chamber machine, it opens a pathway where the liquid gravity feeds down into the cup. But with the whipping chamber setup, pushing the lever also activates a switch which powers the whip chamber impeller. Liquid can leave the bowl to the cup only through the whip chamber. It looks like the job of the chamber is to add air to to the liquid (notice the tall vertical tube from the chamber), whip the air and liquid together, and dispense both into the cup.
What's in an orange whip? The sign says that it involves real orange juice, so that's a good place to start. I guess I'll start with just real orange juice and see how if it tastes any different with air whipped into it. Maybe it needs some cream or something to froth it up.

I believe I have copies of original OW concentrate labels listing all of the ingredients. I'd have to dig through some CD's to see if I still have them.
