Since it appears to work, I've put every picture I have of interesting features of the car up here. Hi LV: Great to see it working. I'm wondering if you can help me out with a "cardboard trunk protector" question I have. From what I have here: www.bluesmobiles.proboards.com/index.cgi?board=details&action=display&thread=16174's never had it, and 75+ always had it. But I think we may need to update this assessment, as bagman's 74 had it. In response to my request, Bagman writes here: www.bluesmobiles.proboards.com/index.cgi?action=gotopost&board=cars&thread=903&post=6257that he added two pics to this album: docs.google.com/folder/d/0BzCd_qB6sVA4UXVaRWZLbGp2TEE/edit?pli=1&docId=0BzCd_qB6sVA4MFhXZXkxc0VCaUUshowing his trunk protector. Here are the pics: Here are pics from my 76 civilian car: After looking at my pics, I think my installation was not factory. I mean, it came from the factory, but somebody fooled with it and didn't put it back together correctly. Look at bagmans: His trunk liner runs underneath the cardboard, and the cardboard is vertical and doesn't show the tabs. Mine has the trunk liner ending before the cardboard, and the cardboard looks pushed in (toward the rear of the car). I'm thinking that the correct setup is with the bottom of the trunk liner bent 180 degrees from mine, so that the tabs stick up behind the cardboard (between the cardboard and the rear of the car). Can you check if your car has the cardboard, and see how it mounts in relation to the tabs? My guess is that bagman's is the correct setup, and it has tabs, and that Ma Mopar simply started adding the trunk liner sometime in 1974 and didn't wait specifically for the 74/75 model year changeover. thanks, arthur

Hi LV: Thanks for the pics. I think your pics show what I was expecting, but let me rephrase and see if I understand correctly.
Let's call the vertical portion of the cardboard divider the "cardboard wall".
Then when the wall hits the trunk floor, it is bent 90 degrees and continues horizontally. Let's call this portion the "cardboard "floor".
Am I correct that the cardboard floor is bent so that it is between the wall and the rear bumper? And that the metal trunk tabs are also between the wall and the rear bumper?
i.e. opposite of my pic:
So that the trunk wall/floor would follow the pink line in this pic:
thanks, arthur

You are correct in your assessment and, if you look to the left of the latch, you can see where the cardboard is folded over in an "L" shape; like your pink line. The top of the windshield wiper box is pointing directly towards it.

Would you sell one of the lock pulls? Right rearview mirror assembly? Left Wiper pivot & arm? And what's the condition of the weather seal on the windows?

I'd be happy to sell those parts; though, the wiper assembly only works for a '75 and up car, if you want to be accurate. I MIGHT have a spare '74 around somewhere.
As for the weather stripping, it seems to be OK; the windows are weak and don't stay up fully, but the seals look alright for a 37-year-old car.
I have several spare "Power Locks" lock pulls and a few miscellaneous parts for both a '74 Monaco Custom and Brougham.

Hey lord vadus I was wondering if u sold the passengers side mirror from this car. If its still available I would like to purchase it since my car is missing it on that side.

I'll sell all the parts from this car that aren't related to the interior; except the upper door panels. If you're interested in a part, shoot me a PM and an approximate price. I'll pull the parts as soon as I get back to WI. I'm presently on vacation in TX until shortly after New Years.
As a result, I can't answer any condition questions or picture requests based off of anything other than memory.
I won't expect anyone to send me any money until I actually have the part off of the car and ready for shipping.

So far, I have interest in the driver's side A-pillar chrome trim piece and driver's side fender, in addition to those mentioned in this thread. All parts are available, sans the dash and lower door panels, so make me an offer for what you want. When we agree on a price, the part is as good as sold and, since I don't want to be featured in a game, you WILL receive your parts. Joking aside, I'll pull all the parts off and mail them out as soon as the weather improves and I return from my vacation in Texas; around March or April. I'm only hoping to get a combined total of $800.00 out of this car, total, to recoup my purchase costs, so I won't be offended by a low-ball offer.
