I wouldn't mind Eleanor. The proper Eleanor from the original movie, not the pathetic remake. It's a 1971 with a 1973 grille. The '71 and '72 had horizontal parking lights in the grille, the '73 had vertical. www.imcdb.org/vehicle_4972-Ford-Mustang-1971.html

Haven't noticed that single exhaust before* so I had to check the 55's story from the web and found a site unofficialamericangraffiti.weebly.com/index.htmlNice that almost all of them have survived, the Edsel & 2cv are missing. * I stopped the vhs always just before the car flips. Did the same with BB when Elwood stops it at the end. As a kid, today I can watch the endings too

The '55 Peterbilt from Duel has always been near the top of my wish list. I love that truck, I was going to look for pics of it but you beat me to it. Great movie, lots of 70's era drama and over-emphasized chase scenes make for a greta movie!

My favorite car of all time...until I tried to sit in one once. What a disappointment! They dont make Lambo's for anyone over 6 feet tall. Even if I could afford to buy one I wouldnt be able to drive the damn thing! Its like finding out the girl you were going to ask to prom is a lesbian(not a true reference, just added for effect). Oh well, I've found my second favorite car of all time and I can fit in it with room to spare. Attachments:

My favorite car of all time...until I tried to sit in one once. Soooo ... I guess it's safe to assume Adrienne Barbeau was not in the Lambo ...

I haven't tried sitting in a Countach, but I think I fit in because I'm short. You shoud've started smoking at 15 like I did. Btw. that I saw that Seinfeld episode yesterday where the "john voight" Lebaron convertible burned. Looked like the Trains etc. car

I rode in a Countach before back in 89. The original Duel truck is here in NC. Also a replica of Snowman's rig. I have a KITT replica and want to build the semi from Knight Rider.

The original Duel truck is here in NC. Hey Scatman There's dispute about that Duel truck ever appearing in the movie. It was definitely built for the movie but I don't think it's for sure that it ever appeared on-screen. Like TK mentioned, the movie truck is a '55 and it went over the cliff. The one that's now known as the Surviving Duel Truck is a 1960. 1955 movie truck ... 1960 surviving truck. A great vid from the owner around '03-'05 ... www.youtube.co/watch?v=ZLy94PxIq6sThen these folks owned it '05-'09 ... Specs and faq ... www.stlouisdumptrucks.com/Duel/Specs.htmlAnd now like Scatman said, it's in Lincolnton, NC ... Current website for the truck ... www.bradsclassictrucks.com/DuelPage.htmHere's some info on the Duel trucks ... Lol, the Hulk. Here's the intro for that episode ...
