I think its beautiful! I would love to turn this into a Chicago Police chase car, too bad I'm low on funds and it being so pricey.

Interesting short trim piece on the front fender. At firtst I thought maybe the pie broke, but I don't see any rivets or holes forward of it, and it looks like the piece comes to a tip...

I see what you mean. I haven't been paying much attention to trim pieces, but I think it may be broken (the fender portion of the full-body-length side trim that goes down the fender, both doors, and the quarter panel) I don't recall it being short on any other cars. The 76 brochure shows it going the distance:

I thought it was broken also, but it seems odd that they would remove the rivets and fill in the holes for a broken trim piece...

It must have been, because most if not all of the Chicago Royal Monacos I have seen all have shortie trim pieces. Here is two more pics, you will also notice they are short but still different lengths. Even the Chicago prototype 74 Monaco has shortie trim.
