A nice tune from Robin O'Herin. I don't think "Bluesmobile" is on that particular CD. I'm not sure which CD it's on or when it was released, but you can listen to it here ... www.broadjam.com/artists/songs.php?artistID=5031&mediaID=485210- Bluesmobile©Songs & Music by Robin O'Herin CHORUS I love my bluesmobile, I like the way that she makes me feel, Look out when I'm behind the wheel, of my bluesmobile. When I'm cruisin on down the road, to a gig or got no place to go. All I need is one green light, look out darlin, I'm outta sight. Yeah. My car hates to stay at home, you know she's only happy on the open road. She's got the moves, baby she's got class, all she needs is a tank full of gas. CHORUS I love my cruisemobile, I like the way that she makes me feel, Look out when I'm behind the wheel, of my cruisemobile. My car's got a mind of her own, you know she drives herself, I swear she knows her way home. Locks the doors, when she's all alone. My cruisemobile. Pure fun, and metal encased, and hey girls she's got lots of closet space. Hey baby, do you wanna race? My bluesmobile. - www.robinoherin.com/

Locks the doors, when she's all alone. My cruisemobile. I bet that's a Ford. Best song about a cop car is Larry Wallis' Police Car: And the best song of any kind of police vehicle and better than "Police car" is, of course, DK's Police truck:

"Bluesmobile" by Phillip Walker & Otis Grand, from this album ... Or it might look like this ... - I couldn't find the lyrics for this song, but did notice that TK had brought this tune to our attention 2 years ago! So some of you may already have the MP3 downloaded, or you can listen to it on youtube which was uploaded today.

^Ha, wonder what happened to ol' Fabio --- Here's "Moonshine Company" from Finland and their tune, "Dodge Monaco" In the studio version I can make out some of the lyrics ... soundcloud.com/moonshine-company/dodge-monacoSomething like that, by the 3rd verse it was harder making stuff out but I heard "1974" in there! Good stuff.

- From Arthur O'Hara the tune is called, "Bluesmobile" All I can gather from the lyrics is it sounds like it's a 1973 L.A. (?) model, green with a black roof. I didn't hear any mention of Dodge or Plymouth, actually I'm not sure if I was entirely cognizant through the whole song, kinda zoned out there for a bit lol. It's ok, bit long maybe ...

- Charlie Jacobson is a Hoser from Red Deer, Alberta. His 2017 album, "Travelin'" featured a track called "Bluesmobile" and it sounds not too shabby! Laid back and bluesy ... If you'd like to hear that as a digital track ... charliejacobson.bandcamp.com/track/bluesmobile----- This one, also called "Bluesmobile" as far as I can tell, is performed by a band from Finland? I think??

- "My Bluesmobile" from LX Skye. I don't know anything about LX Skye, might be his first album in 8 years. I'm also not exactly sure what kind of vehicle he's singing about ? Later in the song he mentions every CD in the player is James Brown and the vehicle is a 1957. It does get bluesy during the chorus. A line near the end ... - An instrumental from "The Italian Bluesman," Fabio Santangelo ... ^ That was 6 years ago, within a year of that being posted the video had disappeared. But now, Fabio is back ! Looks like he's been uploading music again on daTube for 3 months and today has re-released his instrumental track, Bluesmobile (Fill It Up With Unleaded Blues).

^ Fabio has disappeared, again . ----- I noticed this next one was uploaded yesterday, "Bluesmobile" by Lil' Ed & the Blues Imperials. I thought for sure it was already posted in this thread but somehow it isn't ... ?, because it was first uploaded to daTube over 7 years ago yet not posted here. As it turns out my desktop and my phone give me different search results on daTube. My desktop search, using Chrome, never led me to this song even though I can see four uploads of it now right off the bat. Last night on my phone I typed "bluesmobile" into daTube and the version uploaded yesterday was my number one result. So just now I searched for "lil' ed bluesmobile" and here ya go, first time posted here but uploaded to daTube October 2012 . - www.liledblues.com/ * I'm not sure if I could prove that my phone and desktop are giving me different search results, might have been a dream or some form of hallucination. HEY, I found Fabio again lol. It's still his page on daTube, I guess he decided to re-upload Bluesmobile (Fill It Up With Unleaded Blues) and took the previous one down. Good ol' Fabio!

I'm thinking so too, there was a tune I had posted at one point (Phillip Walker & Otis Grand, I'll have to go dig up a link for it again when I have a minute) that isn't here either....

I had posted at one point (Phillip Walker & Otis Grand,) That tune is here, third post in this thread. I believe it was TK that had originally posted that one at Blues Central. We must have had a similar type thread at the ol' site although I don't recall for sure. The Lil' Ed song must have been posted over there, an earlier youtube video than the one here or maybe just an audio file ? I was very surprised we didn't have it here. There was a thread for Elwood's radio show back at Blues Central, maybe we were posting Bluesmobile tunes in that thread ??

There was a thread for Elwood's radio show back at Blues Central, I didn't catch Elwood every week but when I did tune in, the show and the guests were always entertaining. It started in 1993 and I don't know if we ever covered the end of the show here but the radio stuff ended for Elwood July 2017. - thebluesmobile.com/farewell-friends/
