This site:
www.bluesbrothersgallery.com/production%20stills/index.html
has some "production stills" from the movie.
Does anybody have any info on these pics, or the site?
Were the pics distributed by Universal as part of a package?
I'm wondering if I can get them in higher resolution.
The "contact us" and "about the site" links are now invalid. Anybody know who runs the site?
It has this pic under the "stunt crew" category:
And we know that was originally a color pic, and available in hi-res here:

So I'm wondering if the following pics from the "production stills" category are available in color in hi-res. Without putting much analysis into it, it looks like the following are all the same car:
Notice the last pic, the car has the fender support. Although it looks like these pics were taken as part of the peter-gunn sequence, I don't think this production-still car is the same as the "fender support hero shot" car
from

because the driver door handle rust spot doesn't match. But it does give us some good mapping info.
And maybe it helps answer the question I had about why interior shots often show a dark steering wheel, while exterior shots looking in only show a tan steering wheel. I'm guessing it made sense that they had a lot of blumos, and they typically used the same cars for exterior shots looking in, and typically used the same cars for interior shots.
Look at the car in all the production-still shots above. It has that black plate riveted to the dash and electrical tape over the hole in the dash for the 8-track. It seems that they wouldn't want to use this for interior shots. It probably was an "exterior shot only" car.
Any thoughts on how we might go about getting original hi-res pics of the above is appreciated. Are there any other sources for pics like these? I'm trying to collect them all on 74monaco.com. I had forgotten about these for a while.
