Bought few parts for the car: dual snorkel from a Dodge truck(haven't got that yet, hope it fits/ or hope that the hood closes) and that 4bbl intake from another guy. It's part # 4532061, aluminium dual plane and hard to google, but the guy had it on top of his 451 engine so I believed that it works for my 400 too. He also mentioned that he's thinking about selling that 451... That would save a lot of work, I'd only have to find a place to do the engine swap.

^Something like that, but sissier+1 cheaper. And I'd get 11-ish compression with the 902 heads which would be good for e85 or cng. But now I got white foam coming out of the radiator. There's only oil in the dipstick, reservoir has green liquid without foam in it and no white smog coming from the exhaust so I'll try cleaning the system before I worry about those head gaskets. I should've changed the coolant when I got the car, because brown isn't the right color for that stuff. edt. got those side lists off finally:

You have had one crazy adventure over another with your car. I hope it turns out great! I really like the blue color of your car.

Went for a 15 minute drive today and the car worked better than ever, only few coughs! Small problems when starting half warm engine. And after the drive I looked at the radiator and opened that red thingy carefully: Pressure in the radiator and the reservoir was bubbling too. Maybe I get something done this weekend.

^your finnish is like an actual spambot's finnish! The coolant business didn't went like in the movies, what a surprise. Yesterday evening, half dark time, I went to our sand field to do my secret draining business(there's an apartment building close) which went fine and I even got the hose back in without problems. Put about 10 litres of water through the radiator with the engine on and the color changed to lighter brown. Today heavy rain all day so I couldn't throw that dish washer tablet in + drive the engine hot and go to a remote public parking place to do the draining there into a sewer. But this day wasn't total waste of time, I went to work because no one's there on saturday to kill some minus hours( only 26 to go now) and to print the shop manual. So I get there, start printing, fart once very loud, check the printer after about 150 pages and find out that it's running out of ink AND notice that an stealth colleague is sitting 10 metres from me in our open office. Printed rest of the shop manual to other printer across the building where was no people.

So today I dropped the dish tablet into the radiator and started driving around to get the engine hot enough and guess what happened after about 10 minutes- Nice flap flap flap sound from front.. Of course I pulled over to the parking lot I was going to anyway(I know it's bad, but hte nature won't die over one monacos filthy radiator water and one machine dish tablet, the water will be cleaned in the same plant as our home's water anyway) and found out that the tire's surface(correct term?) had got loose, the wires were showing etc. So I did flushing #2 there, poured 13 litres of fresh water through and added 9 litres after closing the water hose, which was a lot easier to do now. No change in colour, still brown, need to find a place where I can put a garden hose direct to the radiator. But I got home with that dead tire, that was a surprise.

I'm thinking you're saying that the tire's cords were showing: www.washingtoncountysheriffwi.org/album_traffic/pages/badtirecord_jpg.htmGlad you made it home! When I got the Fury, I had it parked out front, and the cords were showing on the front driver tire, but it was holding air. One day I was working on it, and heard "blam", and the car sunk down. It reminded me of the blumo falling apart at the end of the movie. your friend in correlating real world events with the movie, arthur

^That's about right- I drove about 10-15 mph the 1,5mile to home. I had no choice but to drive, because I didn't have a jack with me and I'm against walking with a car jack. I did have three spares, two with the Jeep-rims and one original. I guess I'm taking the two jeep wheels and the front wheels tomorrow with me to the cabin, a friend has a tire machine there. Should've done that a long time ago, but no space in the car. Now the wife person is at Prague with her mom and sister, so there's more space in the Mondeo. Just have to fit our three kids and two dogs there.

4th wheel was at the back seat Looks a lot better without the whitewalls. My tire changer friend asked twice "you really want the whitewalls to the wrong side"

Got the final car import tax today, 317€. After I pay that I can get the actual licence plates. Also have to start planning driving to the winter storage(if my friend at the coutryside has space) and changing the waters to anti-freeze mix + a new mini fuel tank w/hose. I have an alcohol approved boat tank in mind.

... + a new mini fuel tank w/hose. I have an alcohol approved boat tank in mind. Is this related to changing the coolant in the radiator? Or is this something completely different, using a mini fuel tank to provide gas to the motor instead of the stock fuel tank? Is this to avoid the fuel problems you were having?
