Just a quick question, are the throttle cables different between two and four barrel carbs on the 75 360's? If so looks like I need a four barrel cable if anyone has one??!! .

How is it different than the 360 2-bbl cable? Is it length, or connector on the end? It seems like it wouldn't be too hard to convert your current cable, but that's without me knowing anything about the setup.

There should be, worst-case, a performance shop that can fabricate one.

It's the length of the carb end that differs. There is just no way of making it work!!

That's a good site about cables. I think this post: internationalchristineclub.net/showthread.php?3227-Someone-MUST-have-one!!!!! is from Christene58. > A throttle cable for a 1975 dodge monaco 360 4 barrel carb. > HELLLLLLLLLLLLLLP!! I aint going nowhere without one. The 2 > barrel one cannot be modified as it's just too short. Mopar part > number is 3751 544. Christene58: Finding a NOS cable might be possible, but it sounds an overly expensive proposition. Why not just have a cable made of the desired length and fittings? your friend in opening the butterflies, arthur

Arthur, if only it were that easy over here!! Trying to get people to make you something even if I gave them my original cable and said 'hey I need this 2 inches longer' is very diffecult and also more expensive than trying to find a NOS one!! I did try bending the pedal stop tang out the way to allow the pedal more movement but this only makes operation uncomforatble.

O.K, the story so far is:- wanted to convert my 75 monaco 360 from a 2 barrel to 4 barrel carb, can't be that hard I hear you say, HA, seems it is!! I tracked down a thermoquad carb, correct iron intake and longer throttle cable. Time comes to connect it all up and no dice. Cable bracket is a country mile off and it seems the cable is too long. Am I missing a trick here? Do four barrel 360's have the cable to the left of the kickdown rod or the right (sitting in drivers seat)? Better still has anyone got a matched linkage or a photo of a 360 setup? This is the only thing stopping me from getting my bluemo on the road and it's pissing me right off!!!

Hi Christine: You had three different threads going about your throttle cable. I combined them here. Hopefully someone has some pics that can help. your friend in getting things connected, arthur
