Steps to disassemble the door side mirror, so it can get rechromed: pic 1: remove the long hidden screw pic 2: push back the mirror and remove the short screw pic 3: label the cables so that they get installed in the same relationship. pic 4: remove each of the wires from the joystick, so that they can get some slack so you can really move the mirror around pic 5: move mirror around to get access to two screws holding mirror to housing info from archived BBC Marin County thread
