The black paint goes on first on Monday; pictures to follow. I can hardly contain my excitement.

How did paint turn out? I am planning on painting mine in gloss, also. I was talking with my body guy who is going to shoot the car and we were trying to find a paint to use that would yield a 'lower quality' shine to help in the weathered appearance. I cant wait to see pics of yours!

It's going well so far; the only new picture I have available now is the inside of the trunk, so I'll share that. The secret to making gloss paint look dirty or worn/faded is to wash the car with water that has a high mineral content and LET water spots form. IF you can get the car in a dusty rain, do so and leave it on to receive a nearly 100% Bluesmobile look.

When I get a day off of work, I'll run over and get some pictures; I was mistaken and the white will be going on before the body gets painted black, but they should have something to show.

After my storage locker was broken into; the only thing stolen was the 440 intake I intended to replace my current high-rise with, I found a replacement via Craigslist and now have a nice 2806178 manifold with a casting date of December 18, 1967. Now all I have to do is get it ready to go on the car when the body shop finishes it, whenever that is...
