AZB, Where'd you find the gold one? The only colors I see anywhere are green and blue. Are there any other colors available?

hmmm....
Dual exhaust on a civilian model? Temp and oil pressure gauge... And those hubcaps look familiar....
about 5 years ago I had an extensive photo-session with Rainer Vossen from Minichamps, he took pics of everything inside out and undercarriage.
Gotta drop him a line some time, the computer with all the old emails needs a new power supply first...
I'm not up to date with their releases, have there been other 74s from MiniChamps?
And while I'm at it, have there been any new ones from Corgi? (While the car was still with Dave Arnold they took their pics and came out with the CHP and the Bluesmobile version.)

AZB, Where'd you find the gold one? The only colors I see anywhere are green and blue. Are there any other colors available? I found it on ebay, it was brand new without a box, and came from Taiwan. Probably plucked from the assembly line. Dated 2012, so it will probably be more common in the coming weeks/months. The seller had just the gold one, I don't know what other colors are planned. -AZB

I sure wish somebody would produce a 1/25 plastic model kit of the Monaco.

Another thing that I noticed: The instrument face numbers are the exact orange color that the real instruments fade to with age.

Really need to fix that computer and check those old emails and mail that guy again. If I remember correctly I gave him Dave Weavers contact (Fire Chief car). New (used) motherboard ordered...

hmm, I just noticed the items on the dash in the fire chief model... Looks very familiar... Would like to see close-ups... Map light looks just like mine as installed by Dave Arnold. That hat looks just like the one I have in my car at exactly this place... ...and... uhm, gun? In a fire chief car?

Would like to see close-ups... The only close-up I can find at the moment has the watermark but the hat just seems too much a coincidence to overlook. You ARE Mr. Minichamps, 440. Or at least your car is! -

Minichamps is coming out with a B&W Monaco in the 3rd quarter of 2012. Right now they are just using a Photoshopped/recolored image of the Fire Chief car for promotion. * Speaking of which, their website states that the fire chief will finally be released, also in the 3rd quarter. As well as a taxi cab. (They are using a recolored image of the blue car) Some websites are offering pre-orders in the $50 - $55 range. .
