I was thinking, if we are looking to compare the options and all to a CHP car what about the Arco '75 Monaco, wasn't that a CHP car? Arco had A/C, dual factory spotlight cutouts in the windshield trim, a tilt column with that odd steering wheel that all of the CHiPs TV cars had, as well as a siren bracket and tan interior. Wasn't the siren bracket listed a an option in '75? Could the Volo car be like Marin and been a piggy back car that didn't get all of the CHP options? Or maybe from a different department that ordered tan interiors and siren brackets? Possibly a CHP with the A/C, tilt column, and right spotlight removed or not installed at the factory?

Made the trip to the Volo museum yesterday, really cool place. I got to see the over-priced 'ex-CHP' Bluesmobile. I noticed the push bar is built differently than any other one I have seen, it bolts to the bumper on the 'top' and not on the front like all others, but it does use the correct CHP rubber bumpers. I forgot to get a close-up pic but you can kind of see it here

- I don't see it being listed for sale anymore, seems to be just for rent, not sure how much but there's no driving in it or even sitting in it. Display only. I can't remember what year Dan signed it ... - www.volocars.com/

I can't remember what year Dan signed it ... It must have been sometime after I saw the car in April 2009. At that time it was facing the other way with the passenger side along the wall.
