I explained to the seller that it needs LOTS of work to get it uk legal. His reserve is way too high for a non exact replica too, which I also explained. But I'm sure someone will buy it. Hopefully Sent from my phone

I bought a '77 _Royal with no rust to start with, best route to go, this rot box would be nothing but a money pit and it will always be a hardtop.

I know what you're saying but I'm on a very small budget. A front clip conversion would be very expensive and near impossible to do here in uk. I'm not too fussed it's a hardtop, I actually like the pillarless doors and people here really wouldn't know the difference. It'll be worth it if I can get it cheap enough. Hopefully Sent from my phone

Didn't sell, reserve not met. This would have been a great parts car for someone with a Royal needing a nose, taillights, gas door, trim, ext. but I know the guy paid way too much for it and is probably trying to recover some of his money if not all of it.

I was the winner! But no he told me his reserve was $7k! Way too much for a 360 hardtop, even I know that lol. He hasn't replied to my offer yet. Hopefully Sent from my phone

Hopefully Sent from my phone Well I kind of wish you luck, I think you can do much better with your money but if this is what you want I hope you get it. Personally I feel even as a '74 Monaco this car is worth $1,500- $2,000 max and that's because all of the body parts are there that make a Monaco into a base '74.

WAIT for the RIGHT car to come along, when it does, you'll KNOW it, and the sale, transportation/import arrangements, and communications will all come together naturally; unlike trying to force a crap bucket to work. Patience will get you the right car, impatience will only result in disappointment. You're putting feelers out there, let them work for you. I know it sounds preachy, but it's the best thing you can do.

I would not buy this car and go to the trouble of importing it. In my opinion is worth about $1500 - $2000 as a parts car. IF you could get it for that much I would consider having someone's state side get the car and strip the parts off then crate and ship to you.
