Hi all, I'm a guy from the Netherlands and I have wanted a Bluesmobile since I first saw the movie when I was a kid. While my build is probably a couple years off (still in college right now), I am already looking around for potential cars and parts, wanting to get a headstart. Since I am from Europe and the Monacos are rare here, I guess my best bet is to import one from the US, same with the parts. Now my question is, how/where can I best start looking for cars and parts, having no contacts in the US? Are most of em put up on eBay and Craigslist, or should I just get a 3 month vacation to drive around the country hoping to run into one? Any and all advise is welcome, thanks in advance! 😄

Plymouth Fury's are much easier to find, often much cheaper, and almost identical to the Monaco.

That would be a good alternative if my optimism in finding one is misplaced! However, if/when I actually get around to building one, I would probably want to do it right and actually get a Monaco, that car is just such a beauty

I am retiring the Great Race Fury July of 20. Thinking about putting that in Lemons 24 (like gtopat) and Blumo this Monaco to sell. It is a 77 but will have the 74 nose/bumpers etc with tan interior out of Fury. Good news, it is a big block car and I have a correct cop HP 440/727 with 9.25 antiroll posi "cop shocks, cop tires, cop suspension" yata yata which will drop right in. Cost you about the same as that 3 month tour of the US looking for one. email stephenontheriver@yahoo.com for pics
